Divorced Dad Fathering
Divorced dads face greater challenges than married dads because their family has been broken. Divorce disrupts the core structures that make fatherhood effective, daily access, natural authority, and unified parenting.
Because divorced dads experience reduced time with their kids, conflict and inconsistent household rules as a co-parent, financial strain, and emotional pressure, they must work intentionally to maintain influence and connection. Divorced fathers must be resilient to rebuild and maintain their role of influence in their children’s lives.
