Meet Mark Strege
Mark Strege has spent more than three decades serving men, fathers, and families through ministry, teaching, and leadership. Following a successful career as a research scientist and director in the pharmaceutical industry, he stepped into a new season of calling by cofounding IndyBlended, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting stepfamilies. His perspective is shaped by personal loss, years of adversity, and the steady faithfulness of God.
Mark’s passion for biblical fatherhood is shaped by his own life experiences as a married father of five, widower, single dad, stepfather, and grandfather. Through speaking engagements, workshops, and mentorship, he equips men to lead their families with courage, clarity, and faith rooted in God’s Word, addressing real-life challenges with honesty and practical wisdom.
Drawing from both personal brokenness and God’s faithfulness, Mark offers practical, Scripture-based guidance that challenges men to embrace their role as spiritual leaders and build a legacy that reflects God’s design for generations to come, impacting not only their families but the generations that follow.
Mark and his bride of 20 years Jennifer are parents to three independent adult children and one daughter still in college. He calls Plainfield, IN (a suburb of Indianapolis) home base where he recharges by reading good books with a cup of coffee and engaging in outdoor activities such as fishing with his grandson, and running, hiking, and skiing. Mark applies his background in chemistry as a garagiste (home winemaker) and connoisseur of good craft beer.
When culture distorts fatherhood, God’s design brings clarity.
The Fatherhood Challenge
Fatherhood is one of the most important callings a man will ever receive, yet many feel unprepared to lead well. The Fatherhood Challenge offers a clear, biblical framework to help men step into their role with confidence and purpose.
Through practical guidance and personal stories, Mark Strege equips fathers to lead their families with integrity, build strong relationships, and create a lasting legacy rooted in God’s design.
